Exceptional and uncommon trilobite fossil of Cybele bellatula., . This is a fine exemplar of the rare Encrinuridæ family from Norway, Preserved in black yet calcite over bluish limestone tipical for this locality it represent one of the best examples of this genus available on the market.
Cybele trilobites lived during the Ordovician Period, over 450 million years ago, inhabiting ancient Scandinavian seas. Large, well-preserved specimens like this are extremely rare and highly sought after by serious collectors, museums, and institutions.
