Small but very well-shaped trilobite fossil of Asaphus expansus from the Lower Ordovician of Slemmestad, Norway. Measuring approximately 5 cm, this specimen is nicely prepared and preserved in classic black jet colour over grey bluish limestone, highlighting the natural contrast and fine anatomical details.

A genuine European Ordovician trilobite with strong aesthetic appeal and excellent preservation. An ideal fossil for collectors, educational use, or as a refined decorative display. Slemmestad trilobites are well known for their historical importance and quality preservation.
